IN FLOW OF WORDS follows the narratives of three interpreters of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. They interpreted shocking testimonies from witnesses, victims and perpetrators, without ever allowing their own emotions, feelings and personal histories to be present. Contrary to their position at the tribunal, this film places their voices and experiences center stage.
Η ταινία IN FLOW OF WORDS ακολουθεί τις αφηγήσεις τριών διερμηνέων στο Διεθνές Ποινικό Δικαστήριο για την πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβία. Διερμήνευσαν σοκαριστικές καταθέσεις μαρτύρων, θυμάτων και δραστών χωρίς ποτέ να επιτρέψουν να υπεισέρθουν τα δικά τους συναισθήματα, βιώματα και προσωπικές ιστορίες. Σε αντίθεση με τη θέση τους στο δικαστήριο, αυτή η ταινία τοποθετεί τις φωνές και τις εμπειρίες τους στο επίκεντρο.
